Real Time Disaster Supply Situational awareness

Challenge Details

During a disaster, it is critical for emergency services staff to know the locations of supplies of fuel, medicine, water, and food in the San Francisco Bay Area so that they can be distributed where needed.

Department of Emergency Management (DEM) does not have real-time data access to supply chain information for managing emerging supply distribution during emergencies.

What would success look like: A cloud-based technology solution that provides access to real-time supply chain information and integrates with existing information sharing platforms including ArcGIS would enable emergency service leaders in San Francisco to rapidly procure supplies and distribute where they are most needed.
