Tom Yoritaka

Tom Yoritaka is the Global Managing Director of Cisco Entrepreneurs in Residence (Cisco EIR) – the company’s startup incubation & growth program. As the global head of Cisco EIR, he works with early-stage startups innovating in the Internet of Everything, Smart Cities, analytics/AI, security, enterprise mobility & M2M commerce. Cisco EIR provides startups with opportunities to build strategic relationships with Cisco product teams & executives, co-working space, software, financial support & potential strategic funding from Cisco. He was previously a Senior Director & General Manager of Social Solutions & Platforms, building & managing Cisco’s Web software products that advance social interactions, knowledge management & collaboration for Cisco customers & partners.

Prior to joining Cisco, Tom held various executive & leadership positions at Yahoo! & Microsoft. He also worked as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group & McKenna Group. He holds a master’s degree from Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government, an MBA with honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business & an undergraduate degree in applied mathematics, statistics & economics with honors from Northwestern University.
