Join the Startup in Residence Network!2circles

Startup in Residence (STIR) connects government agencies with startups to develop technology products that help make government more accountable, efficient and responsive. Over 16 weeks, agencies and startups work together to co-develop custom solutions that address real civic challenges.

STIR’s success has drawn interest from more than 50 governments around the world. Already, the San Francisco Bay Area (San Francisco, Oakland, San Leandro, W. Sacramento), Amsterdam, The Hague, and British Columbia have all successfully replicated the program. In 2018, STIR will expand to include select cities across North America.

The 2018 application for partner cities will open on August 7th and close on August 31st. Space is limited and we are eager to speak with interested cities about preparing for the 2018 cohort.
